Jackie Charmouan - Postcard

Aunty "A" ( Hazel's sister ) gave me this card to translate as she does not have a computer. I tried my best with Google Translator but obviously the writing is a bit wonky and so some words didn't make much sense. Basically it says thank you for your mail art and I will put it on my blog. Something something qualite de chacune des oeuvres realisees? C'est pour nous tous, mail artistes encore une liberte!! Mail art forever? Something like that.

Jacky lives in Paris. His blog I have just found is HERE.

Ennio Pauluzzi 1948 - 2010

Very sad news today of the death of Ennio Pauluzzi who was known as Elefantus on Flickr. We exchanged mail many times during the 90's mostly on the theme of elephants - his passion since his Elefanzine days of the 90's. Only just recently I sent him some elephant badges in September whilst he was on holiday in the Isle Of Man.
Above is from 1993 when Ennio and his girlfriend Poppy came to visit us and looked through our book of mail art portraits. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.
