Lookin through an old, musty file of M.B.'s stuff and found a 1977 issue of "Tensetendoned". The very last piece of work in the assemblage of materials was an obituary announcement that "Tensetendoned" lived from 1992-1997 and that Guy Bleus was having at "Retrospective XIV" of M.B.'s fabled zine from June 1, 1997 to January 31, 1997 at the "E-Mail-Art Archive" van het Provincial Centrum Voor Beeldende Kunsten in Hasselt, Belgium. Guess the zine outlived Ray Johnson, but not by much.
Thanks Jonathan and Crackerjack - nice to get some feedback on Michael Corbett. I had no idea that he had died. Sorry this image file has lapsed. Will try and re-instate it at some point.
I didn't mean to imply that Michael Corbett died, I stated that Michael posted an obituary for his magazine "Tensetendoned" in 1997....his zine "died." I hope Michael didn't because I'm trying to find out how he got that magnificant name for his zine. If anybody has his Pennsylvania mailing address, send it to jackkidmusic@gmail.com
I shouldnt read comments on my blog when I am half asleep first thing in the morning- bound to lead to mistakes! Sorry about that. Glad to hear Michael is very much alive - at least I hope so!
I had some contact via mail art with M. B. Corbett years ago. Nice fellow, but I became busy freelancing and lost contact and dropped out of mail art. I found his address if you still want it on this link http://www.panmodern.com/one/addresses.html If you find an internet contact for him I'd like it. If you contact him via mail please say I said hello.

I haven't heard from Michael Corbett in years... I think he gave it up around the time that Ray Johnson died.
He was a good one...

Oh Geez uz!
I said a "1977 issue of "Tensetendoned" and I meant 1997. Sorry. Michael didn't start mailing art until Spring of 93.
